Neil will be Best Man and I'll have three bridesmaids. Is that excessive?
Even if it is, I don't mind! My bridesmaids will be the lovely Jane Ludford (Chief), Margarita Vidiella and Florence Worley.
We met through working at Datamonitor back in 2000 and have been friends ever since. Both Marga and Flo have beat me to the punch in getting married before me and both of them are mums as well! Marga recently had baby number two, Alexander, so that baby number one, Olivia, has someone to show the ropes to. Flo has lovely Annabelle, who is also my godchild, so it will be extra special that she can be there for the wedding.
We're currently looking for bridesmaid dresses, but I'm determined not to be a pariah and make everyone wear horrible poofy frilly dresses in terrible colours like brown and purple. I want them to look and feel beautiful!
I will need Phil to write more about Neil and all his friends! On the men front, we are considering getting all of them to wear traditional bavarian lederhosen for the ceremony.
